After graduating I joined the EDS team as a Computer Systems Engineer. At this time EDS was a wholly owned subsidiary of General Motors. I was the primary support person responsible for six of General Motors plant floor computer systems.
EDS TECHNICAL TRAINING PROGRAM
This was an intensive three month training program required to become a Systems Engineer with EDS. Acceptance into the program required a four year college degree with a 3.0 or better GPA. 20% of the applicants hired for this program failed resulting in the termination of their employment.
